About
Cristina Ganuza is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Würzburg since 2023. She completed a BSc in Biology (2015) at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in Spain, and a MSc in Systems Ecology and Conservation (2017) at Wageningen University and Research, in the Netherlands. She obtained her PhD in Ecology (2023) from the University of Würzburg.
Cristina is a terrestrial community ecologist investigating how global change drivers interact to shape biodiversity and ecosystem services. She is particularly interested in pollinating insects and their trophic interactions, how habitat and landscape characteristics affect biological communities along climate gradients, and how climate change impacts phenology and fitness across trophic levels.
